Pauline & Gerardo
I know Pauline and Gerardo through a very good friend of mine and was so happy to get to do their wedding. They’ve been together for 8 years and they decided to take their relationship to the next level. Pauline, a lovely french girl, Gerardo an Italian guy from near Napoli living in Paris and they are together the cutest couple ever.
I joined Pauline in “Dessange” beauty salon where she was getting her hair done and we both left to their appartement where they both got ready for their wedding day. Their close friends were also there to help and get them ready. We had some shots at the appartement and headed to the city hall.
Gerardo and Pauline arrived with a cute little red Vespa, I could imagine them going around in Italy’s little streets with it. Everyone was waiting for them at the city hall. A large part of Gerardo’s family came all the way from Italy to be with them and it brought a very nice italian ambiance during the day.
The Mayer made them husband and wife, there was so much emotions in the air and you could feel the happiness in everyone’s eyes.
We then left for a first part of their photo shoot not far from their home in a part of 13th district of Paris which is famous for it’s little houses and the village feeling it gives you. The Vespa was a fitting object for those photos.
Then we left to the venue ” Le Chalet des Iles” on an island in the middle of “Bois du Boulogne“. We did the second part of the shoot on the little boats and on the island before the guests arrive.
The venue is very cosy, villa feeling decorated so beautifully by Brittany and Boris our friend in commun.
We did some fun shots with friends and family with a gorgeous sun light and started the night with champagne, cocktails and during the diner some touching speeches and couple of plays with slideshows and poems and songs.
The DJ had a great taste of music and has put the fire on the dance floor.
It was a great day and a great reunion of two different cultures with lots of joy, sharing and love.
Dear Pauline and Gerardo, I wish you a very long life together full of love and happiness with lots of new events.
