Elodie & Damien
Elodie & Damien were married on the 6th of July. It was a beautiful sunny day filled with culture, faith and love. ♥
Elodie started her day at her parents house situated on a charming little road in the 13th arrondissement of Paris.
While Damien played some fun traditional games downstairs, Elodie was being prepared by her bridesmaids upstairs along with her mum. She looked stunning in her first QiPao dress (a traditional Chinese dress brought to Paris from Hong Kong).
Damien and his friends went up to Elodie’s room as a kind of fun betrothal ceremony, bringing in gifts and breakfast for Elodie.
After that they had their first tea ceremony of the day.
When they finished at Elodie’s parents house, they had a very cool car waiting for them by Nash (model Beaufort Open Tourer) to ride cross Paris over to Damien and Elodie’s new home for their second tea ceremony.
Then we joined all the other guests at Eglise Évangelique Baptiste Coréenne de Paris, in the 9th arr. of Paris for the wedding ceremony. Elodie changed to her second dress, a beautifully designed white dress by Alba. The rings from Tiffany & Co were exchanged and said I DO during a very beautiful ceremony filled with lots of singing and joyful words.
After the ceremony there was a feast prepared downstairs with a plethora of delicious homestyle Chinese food choices catered by ATsai with a lovely wedding-cake from Borissou.
After the midday smorgasbord, they took the Beaufort over to the renowned wedding venue of Le Pré Catelan in Bois de Boulogne where the cocktail hour proceeded. The drinks, aperitifs and dinner were provided by Le Nôtre.
The whole day was also captured on video by Next Door Stories vidéaste, Nathan.
All the flower decorations came from Jian Yun.
There was a moment of setting sun where we took the time to take some great photos in the parks of Bois de Bolulogne and Le Pré Catelan.
Elodie then changed into a third dress, designed by Pronovia, for the cocktail hour and family photos.
For her entrance into the dining hall, she changed into a dazziling QiPao dress in red.
During dinner, the stunning Xiao Lin performed on stage with her wonderful voice singing vibrant covers of old and new ballads. She shared rotating time with the band PopCorn Factory! They nailed every pop hit cover and lit up the dance floor! The energy was just amazing!
It was a beautiful day and the three of us here at Next Door Stories; Sanaz, Petra and Nathan, are so grateful to capture your happiness and joy.
