Carla & Gwendal
Carla & Gwendal had this amazing wedding that lasted for 3 days, it was a French wedding with an amazing oriental touch. Carla is originally from Lebanon and a big part of her family lives in Canada, so friends and family came from all over the world.
The first day started with the the city-hall ceremony in the cute little village of Pitres where Gwendal’s parents live, it was also in this village Gwendal grand-father once was the mayor. After the city hall, they all spent a quiet moment offering some beautiful gifts to each others.
After the city-hall, the family had a organized a lunch at Hôtel Le Grand Cerf in Lyons-la-Fôret, a very cute little village in Normandy.
On Saturday, I started by meeting Gwendal at the Hotel Bowmann where he got prepared. I also met with Nicolas, the videographer for Caratfilm. Gwendal’s suit came from Boggi and his shoes from Paul Smith, he also wore the gorgeous watch his father-in-law offered him 2 day earlier.
Carla got ready in a wonderful suite at Hotel George V (the Four Season Paris) in the 8th arr. of Paris. All her sisters and her mum got prepared at the same time. Carla looked stunning in her dress from Suzanne Neville ordered from the Wedding Atelier Boutique in NY. Her gorgeous shoes came from Jimmy Choo. After been dressed, there was an early cocktail organized in the suite. Friends started rolling in a very happy mood.
To transport all guests from Hotel George V, Gwendal had organized so 2 big limousins were waiting downstairs.
The afternoon continued in Pavillon Dauphine in Bois de Boulogne, where the secular ceremony also was hold. It was a beautiful moment hosted by one of Carlas’ sister and a very good friend of Gwendal. They exchanged their rings under the tear-filled eyes of the guests.
The afternoon continued with a delicious cocktail in the garden, there was a jazz group playing Manouche Clément Rebboul that created a cool and relax ambiance. The DJ Dominique from Fiestamania took over the music once everyone entered the room for diner. He played a perfect mix of pop music and cool oriental music, everybody; from the kids to the parents, danced until late in the night.
The following day, on Sunday, Carla’s mother Myrna, was the host of the gorgeous brunch at the peniche; Le Diamant Bleu at the Seine. All the guestes were very happy to share a very tasty cocktail on the roof, and the day finished with a great lunch with a view over the riversides of Paris.
Carla & Gwendal, it was 3 amazing days I spent with you, I hope you both a very long, happy & lovely life together ♥ -P
